The veteran politician who has served the party from the grassroot during his youthful days and currently acts as the Chairman of the constituency is strongly touted as the most competent person to hold the front of the party. The Inspector General of Police, David Asante Apeatu, has confirmed DCOP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah as the substantive Director-General of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). DCOP Addo-Danquah had been the Acting Director-General of the Department prior to her elevation. Similarly, the Acting Director General/ICT, DCOP/Mr Anthony Tennyson Aidoo has also been confirmed as the substantive Director-General. A statement titled ‘confirmation’ issued on Wednesday, 24 January and signed by the IGP Mr Apeatu said: “DCOP/Mr Anthony Tennyson Aidoo Ag Director General/ICT Is hereby confirmed Director General ICT.
