Another member of President's 'family' gets appointment.


The Inspector General of Police, David Asante Apeatu, has confirmed DCOP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah as the substantive Director-General of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
DCOP Addo-Danquah had been the Acting Director-General of the Department prior to her elevation.
Similarly, the Acting Director General/ICT, DCOP/Mr Anthony Tennyson Aidoo has also been confirmed as the substantive Director-General.A statement titled ‘confirmation’ issued on Wednesday, 24 January and signed by the IGP Mr Apeatu said: “DCOP/Mr Anthony Tennyson Aidoo Ag Director General/ICT Is hereby confirmed Director General ICT. DCOP/Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, Ag Director-General CID is hereby confirmed Director-General /CID.”
Tiwaa Addo-Danquah was recently at the centre of an alleged doctored tape saga involving musician A Plus.

UCC Hospital receives Team Kingsley - SRC Presidential Aspirant

Kingsley Nana Akowuah, an SRC Presidential aspirant of the University of Cape Coast, on Wednesday 14th February 2018 paid a courtesy call on the University of Cape Coast Hospital. 14th February is marked worldwide as a day of love and so team Kingsley used the occasion to show love and affection to the sick. The team interacted with patients and hospital staff and also offered prayers for a speedy recovery The team seized the opportunity to donate some items to the hospital and the patients. Ghana Meteorological Agency Act Amended! - Staff hail Ursula

Parliament on Friday, 2nd August, 2019 passed the Ghana Meteorological Agency amendment bill 2019 which seeks to define and specify the fees and charges the Ghana Meteorological Agency can recover for Aeronautical services provided to the Aviation industry. The Ghana Meteorological Agency is a state institution established under the Ghana Meteorological Agency Act, Act 682, 2004 to provide climate and weather information to ensure the socio-economic development of the country.
